All American Classic Karate Tournament
USA KARATE, Colorado Springs, CO, is excited to announce the revival of the annual All-American Classic Karate Tournament, to be held at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center in Charleston, West Virginia on October 26-27, 2024. Last seen in 2011, this exciting signature event will offer additional elite level competition opportunities to karate athletes ages 20 and younger from around the United States.
The two-day tournament will include male and female categories spanning all levels from beginner to elite, in individual kata and kumite, including divisions for para karate athletes with disabilities. The event will utilize the World Karate Federation (WKF) rules of competition and the official equipment sponsor is Century Martial Arts.
“We are thrilled to see our young athletes take on this new challenge and showcase their talent and hard work”, said USA Karate President Elisa Au. “The All-American Classic promises to be a memorable event filled with fierce competition, camaraderie and the spirit of karate.”
The USA National Karate-do Federation is the National Governing Body for the sport of karate and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee and fields the official national karate team for the sport.
